Included in the space will be vehicles from the blockbuster \u201cBlack Panther,\u201d the trilogies \u201cMen in Black\u201d and \u201cBack to the Future,\u201d and the \u201cGhostbusters\u201d and \u201cBatman\u201d series of movies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Stars of the new exhibit include the wildly-popular 1959 Cadillac Miller-Meteor dubbed \u201cEcto-1,\u201d originally made famous as the rapid response vehicle for the cast of \u201cGhostbusters.\u201d The converted ambulance made multiple appearances in the sequels to the original 1984 hit, including the more recent reboot \u201cGhostbusters: Afterlife.\u201d While \u201cEcto-1\u201d received updates to its appearance over the years, it will display in its original 1984 condition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"684\" src=\"https:\/\/fundscene.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2022\/03\/1989BatmobileDriveninBatman1989andBatmanReturns1992-3-1024x684.jpeg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-242\" srcset=\"https:\/\/fundscene.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2022\/03\/1989BatmobileDriveninBatman1989andBatmanReturns1992-3-1024x684.jpeg 1024w, https:\/\/fundscene.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2022\/03\/1989BatmobileDriveninBatman1989andBatmanReturns1992-3-300x200.jpeg 300w, https:\/\/fundscene.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2022\/03\/1989BatmobileDriveninBatman1989andBatmanReturns1992-3-768x513.jpeg 768w, https:\/\/fundscene.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2022\/03\/1989BatmobileDriveninBatman1989andBatmanReturns1992-3-150x100.jpeg 150w, https:\/\/fundscene.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2022\/03\/1989BatmobileDriveninBatman1989andBatmanReturns1992-3-696x465.jpeg 696w, https:\/\/fundscene.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2022\/03\/1989BatmobileDriveninBatman1989andBatmanReturns1992-3-1068x713.jpeg 1068w, https:\/\/fundscene.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2022\/03\/1989BatmobileDriveninBatman1989andBatmanReturns1992-3.jpeg 1200w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Another Hollywood vehicle making its return is the 1981 DeLorean \u201cTime Machine\u201d from the \u201cBack to the Future\u201d trilogy of movies. The producers originally chose the DMC-12 as the foundation for the famous time-traveling DeLorean due to its stainless-steel construction and gullwing doors. Multiple versions of the DeLorean \u201cTime Machine\u201d were made throughout the years for the two sequels, but this is the only example appearing in all three films.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cSome vehicles used in television and movies have become just as popular as the stars themselves,\u201d said Petersen Automotive Museum Executive Director Terry L. Karges. \u201cWe are excited to display what are genuinely some of the most iconic vehicles from Hollywood\u2019s long and storied history of film and television series production.
